Scott Lifschultz and partner Jason Gregory are the team leading the DXL expansion throughout Southern California. Other DXL stores secured by SPL include; Brea, Woodland Hills and Irvine, CA.

Opened earlier this year the Westfield Palm Desert store is 7,200 square feet and is located on the exterior entrance to the regional mall. The space has over 50 feet of frontage with excellent visibility adjacent to Barnes & Noble and one of the main entrances to the mall. Anchors include Macy’s, Sears, JC Penney and Dick’s Sporting Goods. This store replaced the Casual Male XL store in the market.
DXL recently opened in Candlewood Shops on Candlewood Street in Lakewood, CA. The 7,356 square foot store sits directly across from Lakewood Center, a + 2million square foot super regional mall anchored by Macy’s, Sears, JC Penney, Costco, Forever 21, Sports Authority and Bed Bath & Beyond. Candlewood Shops is owned by the Macerich Company and is also home to the Men’s Wearhouse. This store replaced the Casual Male XL store in Lakewood Square.
DXL recently signed a lease, is under construction and will open next month in Valley Plaza Mall in Bakersfield, CA. The 5,619 square foot store will be facing Ming Road with an exterior entrance. The regional mall is anchored by Macy’s, Sears, Target, JC Penney, and Forever 21. General Growth Properties is the owner of Valley Plaza. Once this store opens the Casual Male XL will close down the street.
