Sports Camps Australia (SCA), partnered by US Sports Camps, Nike and the Healthy Kids Association are bringing camps in over 12 sports to the Australian market in an effort to get kids active and healthy.

Sports Camps Australia (SCA) was founded in late 2013 and is headquartered in Sydney, Australia. SCA have partnered with US Sports Camps, the largest and most successful sports camps operators in the United States who are responsible for the widely successful NIKE Sports Camps program in the United States.

Chief Executive Officer of US Sports, Charlie Hoeveler said of their Australian partner, "Australia is known around the world for its passion and participation in sports of every kind. SCA teams up with the country's best coaches and clubs to direct camps and provides them with valuable administrative and marketing support. Its new website is a one stop shop where one can find out what camps are being held nationally in 12 sports, what the program for the camps is, how much it will cost, where and when it will be held, and how to sign up immediately.

Having just officially opened for business in late January, SCA is offering camps in football, futsal, horse polo, biking, and tennis, with many more camps looking to sign up for the April school break.

The company’s mission is getting kids active and healthy while at the same time helping to promote the sporting clubs and associations of Australia. Sports Camps Australia aims to be the premier sporting camp company in Australia and with heavyweight partners such as NIKE, HEAD and US Sports Camps, its already got some major runs on the board and significant support.

Its ethos of healthy kids are active and educated kids is also in line with the Australian Governments push to reduce child obesity. The Healthy Kids Association has become an official supporter of SCA to further promote and endorse this message.

Healthy Kids gets its message out there by partnering with food companies, sports programs or other organizations to deliver healthy-eating messages through their channels.
