Consilium Staffing Attends Two Conferences in the Month of March
Irving, TX (PRWEB) March 27, 2014 -- Consilium Staffing, your partner in locum tenens, attended the National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC) Conference and the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) Conference in the month of March.
Consilium attended the NARHC conference in San Antonio, TX on March 17th through the 18th. The conference focused on the needs and demands for physicians and the overall landscape of the Rural Health Market. There were more than 300 attendees from all across the nation and topics included coding, billing, grants, and quality improvement for rural health facilities.
“The NARHC Conference was an outstanding experience for me. It was great to meet several people from all across the nation and discuss the benefits and challenges of the Rural Health market. Consilium has always had a strong focus on Rural Health and will continue to do so,” said Hamilton Doty, Senior Client Sales Consultant.
The NARHC is the only national organization dedicated exclusively to improving the delivery of quality, cost-effective health care in rural underserved areas through the Rural Health Clinics Program (RHC Program).
Consilium also attended the UCAOA conference in Las Vegas, NV on March 17th through the 20th. The event took place at the luxurious Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, with more than 800 participants and 140 exhibitors. Consilium represented the locum tenens industry as an exhibitor. The attendees included physicians, mid-level providers, other urgent care professionals and urgent care center owners, administrators, and managers. Courses focused on advanced clinical and practice management.
“This year’s spring convention provided a great outlet for us to meet and collaborate with a large number of attendees,” said Tisha Schwartz, Director of Client Sales. “As the demand for Urgent Care continues to rise, it was extremely beneficial to establish Consilium’s role and identify how we can best partner with urgent care facilities and meet their expectations.”
Founded in 2004, the UCAOA represents all professionals working in urgent care. With nearly 6400 members from Australia to the United States, the Urgent Care Association of America exists to advance and distinguish the role of urgent care medicine as a healthcare destination and support the ongoing success of its membership through education, advocacy, community awareness, benchmarking and promoting standards of excellence.
“Attending conferences, like the UCAOA and the NARHC, is a big priority for us this year,” said Consilium Executive Vice President Matt Baade. “This is a great opportunity for us to spend quality time with our valued customers and continue to share with the healthcare industry how we can serve the needs of healthcare facilities and providers throughout the country.”
