The Create Real Impact contest encourages students to use social media to spread their solutions to reckless and distracted driving, the number one killer of teens in America.

Impact Teen Drivers and California Casualty are putting out the call for entries for the spring 2016 Create Real Impact contest. Students across the nation, aged 14-22, can win cash prizes for their best creative message against dangerous distracted driving. The contest kicks off March 1 with submissions of artwork, videos, music or creative writing due at http://www.createrealimpact.com by April 29, 2016 for consideration. Up to $15,000 will be awarded in judge’s picks and online voting.
Last fall, over 1,000 entries were submitted. A panel of judges selected the grand prize winners for their respective categories:
- Writing: Lindsey Gramache, Laguna Niguel, CA
- Art: Kiri Hungerford, Grand Blanc, MI
- Video: Paige Murrell, Plainfield, IN
- Music: Micha Edwards, Humble, TX
- ASL: Tylia Banks, Roseville, CA

Utilizing peer-to-peer messaging, Impact Teen Drivers empowers students to help spread the word that distracted driving, the number one killer of young drivers, can be prevented. The Create Real Impact contest was initiated in 2009 as a proactive solution to the deadly epidemic of inattentive teen driving.
