COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Dec. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Crosby and Springs Home Finders recently adopted a family for Christmas. "We carefully chose a family that really needed a little extra help this holiday season," said Crosby, who, along with Springs Home Finders, adopts a family every Christmas. "We selected a single dad who recently lost his wife and was left alone with two kids, a 7-year-old and 18-month-old. It is a heartbreaking story and we wanted to do something, anything, to help."
From a Christmas tree with decorations and stockings, to presents, clothes, bedding, toys, and personal hygiene items, Springs Home Finders did everything they could to provide the family with some truly needed items.
Jennifer Crosby has always been passionate about the Colorado Springs area and about service to the community. For the last decade, she has adopted families and found ways to give back, including paying bills for people that had fallen on hard times.
"Every year, I have been honored to help at least one family in need and this year, I provided a program to give my clients and friends the opportunity to also adopt families," added Crosby.
To round out the season of giving, Crosby, along with Springs Home Finders bought Christmas gifts for ten children through the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS® (PPAR) and sponsored "Cookies with Santa." The event took place at The Little Gym in Colorado Springs on December 7. "The event was a great success and every family went home with a free digital picture with Santa," concluded Crosby.
