...it’s essential that agencies take responsibility for training staff as the challenges facing them become increasingly complex, and this focus on learning and development enables them to continue to excel for their clients
London (PRWEB UK) 1 July 2015
iProspect, the global leading digital performance marketing agency, has today become the first business to launch a tailored version of the Squared Online digital marketing programme, developed with Google and powered by Home Learning College, as part of its new global talent initiative, NEXTGEN.
With a focus on learning and development, NEXTGEN aims to train the next generation of digital talent and incorporates a new version of the Squared Online digital marketing course, which has been tailored to the specific needs of iProspect. The initial rollout will see the course offered to more than 150 iProspect employees from 28 countries, with it eventually becoming available to all 2,600 staff from iProspect’s 74 offices worldwide.
NEXTGEN runs in parallel with iProspect University, a bespoke global online platform that provides career development at all levels, as well as interactive content, webinars and links to partners' sites, enabling over 2,500 iProspect staff to easily attain the certificates needed to demonstrate expertise in a wide range of digital tools. This network was built by iProspect and is designed to be continually updated as the industry changes and evolves.
CJ Morley, Director for Global Talent and Development at iProspect, commented: “Being able to work with Google and Home Learning College to create the world’s first joint global initiative in this landscape really shows the strength and vision of our partnership. We’ve worked together to tailor components to suit our agency’s needs, overlaying iProspect case studies and best practice from our own subject matter experts and leaders. Running NEXTGEN alongside iProspect University ensures that we’re able to deliver on our aim of being a truly networked organisation and a global leader at training the next generation of talent – which is what NEXTGEN is all about.”
Antony Damianos, Head of Squared Programmes at Google continued: “Attracting and retaining talent has become an increasingly difficult task within the marketing and advertising industry, but iProspect is fast establishing itself as a leader at rising to this challenge. We believe it’s essential that agencies take responsibility for training staff as the challenges facing them become increasingly complex, and this focus on learning and development enables them to continue to excel for their clients. However, it also allows talented people within agencies to progress, something that has a big impact on talent retention.”
