Hunting Celebrities Partner With Stack-On To Encourage Secure Gun Storage Practices
WAUCONDA, Ill. (PRWEB) August 09, 2013 -- Stack-On Products Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of tool storage systems, security cabinets and safes, today launched a national, safe gun storage campaign that is being endorsed by hunting enthusiasts and television personalities Willie Robertson, Steve West, Jason Aldean and Tombo Martin.
The social responsibility and online pledge campaign, “Keep ‘Em Safe – Locked and Unloaded,” asks sportsmen and gun owners to keep all firearms in a secured, locked environment.
For a limited time, Stack-On will make a monetary donation for each household that completes the pledge—up to $20,000 total—to the Shoot for A Cure charity, which uses the fun and excitement of clay sport shooting to fund leukemia and multiple sclerosis research.
Firearm owners can take the pledge today at http://stack-on.com/pages/social-responsibility.
INDUSTRY ADVOCATES TAKE PLEDGE AND ENDORSE GUN SAFETY
The national firearm safety campaign highlights the safe, responsible storage of firearms through a series of national print ads, television and social media mentions that feature:
• Steve West of Steve’s Outdoor Adventures,
• Willie Robertson of Duck Commander® and
• Jason Aldean and Tombo Martin of Buck Commander™.
Each celebrity endorser will share his personal firearm safety message and promote the company’s safe gun storage online pledge.
“We are excited that such influential industry leaders have taken this pledge and committed to encouraging others to secure their firearms,” says Shelley Nehrt, director of marketing for Stack-On Products.
The company expects to receive upwards of 20,000 secure gun storage pledges during the 11-month “Keep ‘Em Safe – Locked and Unloaded” campaign. According to Nehrt, the campaign pledge—and accompanying charitable donation (one per household)—is open to all gun owners, regardless of how they choose to secure their firearms.
“Our primary message is that if you own a firearm, respect it and store it securely,” explains Nehrt.
