The StandUp4Music™ Foundation will help fund life-changing music education for thousands of children across America. Public schools across the United States are continuing to reduce, or in many cases completely cut their arts and music programs that serve children from low-income families.

“Restoring music education starts with each and everyone of us” says Brown, and “it’s about time we come together and StandUp4Music. Children are more likely to stay in school and stay off drugs when they're being mentored with love, respect and an instrument in their hands and music in their minds.

Donor support helps fund life-changing music education experiences for thousands of people of all ages. From school children to wounded warriors and the elderly, music programs bring inspiration, education, healing and hope to a diverse array of music makers. The StandUp4Music™ Foundation is encouraging a music army of legendary iconic artists who are uniting behind the National Music Education Restoration Project.

Award winning legendary drummer Harold Ray Brown, is a founding member of WAR and has performed with Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Harold is standing up for music and is determined to help begin restoring music education across the country.

Children are more likely to stay in school and stay off drugs when they're being mentored with love, respect and an instrument in their hands and music in their minds.” Harold is encouraging celebrity artists to come together and join the StandUp4Music™ project.

Grammy-winning songwriter Randy Sharp is a musician, producer, recording artist whose songs have been recorded by Emmylou Harris, Clay Walker, Patty Loveless, Reba McEntire and Marty Robbins, and the Dixie Chicks to name a few. Seven of Randy's songs have been No. 1 Country singles. “Together we can turn the tide and insure that music education thrives once again and produces generations of musicians who value the wonder of music and the song,” says Sharp.
