Starpoint Resort Group eagerly anticipates the planned expansions and renovations that are happening along the Las Vegas Strip's northern end.

Starpoint Resort Group, a leader in providing luxury vacation accommodations, is excited for the upcoming plans to revitalize the Las Vegas Strip's northern end. When travelers head to Vegas they expect some of the best accommodations and attractions in the world, and those expectations are consistently met. Continuing to solidify Vegas as the number one vacation destination in the United States, plans are in the work to rejuvenate a few key areas. As new resorts open, older ones are due for a face-lift, all while a massive music venue is being constructed to host the 2015 Rock in Rio music festival.

Last month, the SLS Las Vegas was the first of many new landmarks to open along the Strip's northern end. Starpoint Resort Group points out that the iconic Riviera is next on the list for planned renovations. Vegas Inc. reports that Riviera's owners have approached lawmakers about the costs of renovations, which reportedly will exceed $100 million dollars. The final decision on whether or not renovations take place falls to the Riviera's ownership group. New and renovated resorts will certainly breathe new life into the Strip's northern end.

Starpoint Resort Group is particularly excited for the arrival of Rock in Rio's 33-acre open-air concert venue, which is planned to host the event in May 2015. With an expected crowd of 80,000 a day, the four-day event will be a massive draw to the region, not to mention the venue allows for so many possible future entertainment options for Las Vegas vacationers. The venue will feature five stages and an estimated $20 million dollars have been invested in the area's construction. The economic benefit from such an undertaking is very significant, as the Electric Daisy Festival, a smaller event, brought in nearly $280 million to Clark County just last year.

With these new and planned north-end expansions, Starpoint Resort Group continues to proudly promote Las Vegas as the ultimate destination for travelers to visit. Las Vegas offers travelers unforgettable entertainment options, world-class accommodations, and some of the best year-round weather in the entire country. For more information, visit
