Stephen Ong’s New Book Provides Roadmap to Impact Society Positively
(PRWEB) September 09, 2013 -- From debut author Stephen Ong comes A Gift to Others, an enlightening guide about how to live life fully at the same time as helping and touching other people’s lives. Replete with expansive insights and words of wisdom, this book explores human compassion and kindness that stems from the Heavenly Father. From dealing with relationships, family, work and blessing, Ong coaches readers of how to live a life with purpose and become active and positive participants of society by opening up and learning to share the self to others.
Drawing together ideas from family, friends and colleagues, Ong began to realize the multitude of blessings bestowed upon him and his family. He decided to list all the blessings he can recall starting with the gift of life and followed by the various gifts he gained throughout his education, profession, social interaction and relationships. Looking back, he recognized the one true source of all these gifts: God. Now, with a sense of appreciation and gratitude from knowing how fortunate he truly is, he wants to impart all the blessings to others by sharing his personal philosophy of how giving and receiving gifts can build relationships and return multifold to the giver.
An excerpt from A Gift to Others, taken from the foreword written by Dr. Ray Pritchard:
“As you read the stories from the book, you will discover what it means to view your life as a gift from God meant to be shared with others. It will show readers how to live by providing inspiration and practical help to make your life a gift to others.”
Illuminating and touching all at once, Ong’s work is certain to give pause to all its readers as they contemplate upon their lives and how they have made an impact to others. Written in a style that everyone can understand, enjoy and relate, A Gift to Others sheds light on living a life of positivity, sensitivity and love.
