Stepping Stones Museum for Children Hosts Week of Tricks & Treats Oct. 23-31
NORWALK, Conn. (PRWEB) October 12, 2018 -- It will be a week of tricks and treats as Stepping Stones "BOO-seum" for Children welcomes all into its cauldron of play. This year, the museum’s Halloween festivities are bigger and better as the Stepping Stones Boo Squad has conjured up a week’s worth of fun, exciting experiences that are sure to inspire and delight. During Halloween Tricks and Treats Week from Tuesday, Oct. 23 – Wednesday, Oct. 31, enjoy daily costume catwalks, creature features, face painting, hat sorting, magic tricks, make-believe monsters, mask making, pumpkin decorating, silly sensory science lab experiments and BooZoo’s Great Pumpkin parades. Patrons are sure to have a monstrously good time!
Highlights of Tricks and Treats Week include Frankenstein Friday, Oct. 26 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the publishing of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Monster Mash from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, and Make Your Own Fun Days Oct. 30 and 31.
Monster Mash is the BOO-seum’s annual Halloween fete that is sure to "be a scream." As always, Monster Mash is a spellbinding evening that is jam-packed with not-so-scary, costumed, family fun. Guests can meander through the museum to play ghoulish games like Eyeball Toss or Halloween BINGO, use catapults to launch flies into the creepy spider web in KLUTZ® Amazingly Immature, step into the BOO-tique to create monster-themed self-portraits in Express Yourself, show off their mind tricks as they play the Pumpkin Face Concentration memory game in the Light Gallery or strut their costumed stuff as they masquerade for the camera at the Photo Station. The museum's friendly ghosts and goblins will cap off this BOO-tiful evening at the Boo Bash as they boogie to the SPOOK-tacular tunes played by a DJ.
Don’t fret about bringing the littlest visitors. At this Halloween party, Stepping Stones won’t have people crying for their "mummy." There will be age-appropriate activities for all visitors so that the whole family can enjoy this costume party. Dinner will be available in the Stepping Stones Cafe.
Tickets for Monster Mash cost $10 per person for museum members and $15 per person for non-members. Children under the age of 1 will be admitted for free. Monster Mash tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration is required. Space is limited and this event is very popular, so register early.
