Author Steve Scott Shares Tragic Loss in ‘Black Witch’
RICE, Wash. (PRWEB) August 21, 2015 -- Author Steve Scott shares his experience dealing with tragedy, facing evil and defeating it in his new book, “Black Witch” (published by AuthorHouse), which expounds on the untimely death of his daughter.
“Black Witch” follows a simple man as he grapples with depression and his ideas of God. Scott confronts the glue that holds life together as he battles against his demons.
“There is no happy ending or inspirational message,” Scott says, “I only hope my readers come away with at least one single truth that has value for them.”
Scott explains how he dealt with the loss of his daughter, how he reconciled it and what he learned from it. He describes the value he found and how he was able to define God in the face of the tragedy he was experiencing.
An excerpt from “Black Witch”:
“You don’t think that nightmares are real? You don’t think that something is so bad that you lose the feeling in your legs and you can’t walk? You don’t think that the mind that has worked so good for you all these years can just shut down?”
