Stradalli Cycle, the high performance carbon bicycle manufacturer, is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring the professional women’s Colavita/Fine Cooking Pro Cycling Team. As part of the sponsorship deal Stradalli will provide the team with road and time trial bikes for the 2014 season.

Stradalli is supplying the Colavita/Fine Cooking team with Stradalli RP14 Carbon fiber road bikes and Phantom II time trial bikes. The Stradalli RP14 is a new design for 2014 and features Shimano DURA components and has been designed with stiffer, highly responsive handling to deliver performance and speed in criteriums as well as road races. The full carbon Phantom II is the most aerodynamic time trial frame that Stradalli has produced to date. Using an integrated fork, stem, and handlebar design, riders achieve a near perfect aerodynamic position with minimal exposure of the frontal surface area.

The deal marks Stradalli’s debut in sponsoring a professional women’s team. During the announcement John Profaci, Vice President of title sponsor Colavita, thanked Stradalli and its CEO Thomas Steinbacher adding that “Women’s cycling needs more sponsors like Tom to provide this generous level of support, which historically has been reserved only for the men’s side of the sport.”

“We are very excited to sponsor the Colavita/Fine Cooking Pro Cycling Team,” said Tom Steinbacher. “Colavita has been a true champion of cycling and we are proud to align our products with the program that they have supported for over a decade. We share Colavita’s commitment to the sport and look forward to enhancing the team’s legacy with our high-performance bikes.”

NCC Champion Erica Allar, who will be riding for Colavita/Fine Cooking during the 2014 season noted the innovative design of the Stradalli frames and the excellent choice of Shimano components. “I am looking forward to racing on Stradalli bikes. There is no doubt that we will have a lot of success with this collaboration,” she added.
