ROCKFORD, Ill. (PRWEB) October 04, 2018 -- Aptris announces today the promotion of Steven Horvath to Chief Innovation Officer and, to assume Steven’s former role, Greg Wheeler to Director of Advisory Services.
Greg joined Aptris in December of 2015 as a senior consultant and Steve followed one month later to create the Advisory Services team.
“The creation of Advisory Services elevated the type of work we were able to do for our customers,” says Tim Ancona, Aptris CEO. “Before that, we were providing tactical assistance, which is valuable, but then we were able to become true strategic partners, invested in our customer’s long-term planning and success.”
The Advisory Services team provides executive-level coaching, IT maturity assessments, and long-term “road mapping” aimed at helping customers have a more thorough and proactive plan for service management.
According to Steven, “our customer is an IT leader in a large organization, and commonly they’ve been looked at as someone who helps ‘keep the lights on.’ We help them evolve into more of a strategic role, contributing to the overall business objectives of innovation and growth.”
In his new role as Chief Innovation Officer, Steven is able to elevate even further the level of service that customers can expect. He will be focused on developing new client services and on new market expansions as well.
“Steven has built a solid foundation upon which we can now solidify our role as strategic advisors to our customers,” says Greg Wheeler, newly appointed Director of Advisory Services. “I am excited about the new position, and I feel like I’m set up for success because I get to stand on the shoulders of a giant.”
As Greg seeks to take Advisory Services to a new level, one of his initial goals is to compile the broad expert knowledge of the team into several unified best practice guides, starting with ITSM, ITBM and ITOM practices. This initiative will result in helpful use cases and process outlines that can be shared with clients through workshops and various training exercises.
“With these role expansions, we’re even further along the path of being more than just another copycat service provider,” said Ancona. “Our goal is to be innovators in our market and help our customers in their drive toward future-focused IT service delivery.”
