TAMPA BAY, Fla., Dec. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The vibrant and colorful painting brushed by freshman artist Mirit, 'Forever and Ever,' recently made its way into the hands of popular 'Riverdale' actress Marisol Nichols.
'Forever and Ever' is an impressive 30" x 40" acrylic and oil on canvas work painted by the 43-year-old novice painter. Of the painting, Mirit says, "I grew up on Randy Travis and, to me, his incredible song 'Forever and Ever, Amen' is all about eternal love and eternal life. That is what I wanted to convey in this painting. I am thrilled that Ms. Nichols decided to acquire it."
Nichols, who currently stars as Hermione Lodge, the mother of Veronica (Camila Mendes), in the hit TV series 'Riverdale,' is also well-known for playing the Counter Terrorism Unit's (CTU) Chief of Staff Nadia Yassir with Kiefer Sutherland in '24' and as Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) Agent Zoe Keats, the one-time love interest of Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo, on NCIS.
'Forever and Ever' is the second major art piece sold by Mirit within the span of a few weeks, proving that new, aspiring artists do not have to struggle to survive. The all-wood frame that encompasses the painting was created by Erdei Wood Designs and Mirit feels that it "compliments the painting magnificently."
Born in Israel, raised in a Nigerian jungle in Africa, and then legally immigrating to the United States, Mirit is not what one would consider your typical artist. She and her two daughters were on welfare after she found the courage to escape an abusive marriage. However, she fought back, for her family, and became very successful in the world of high-tech. before entering the artistic world earlier this year
The novice painter has had no art instruction of any kind and picked up her first set of paintbrushes less than a year ago. She has not looked back. "For some reason," Mirit says, "I can paint with no former training. It's taken over my life."
Mirit also offers her unique art as prints, home décor and more at her website.
