Livermore, CA (PRWEB) September 14, 2017 -- The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the last in its series of Wine Country luncheons with a State of the State address by Catharine Baker at the Wente Vineyards outdoor venue located at 5050 Arroyo Road in Livermore on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Baker represents the 16th District which includes the Livermore Valley in the California Assembly.
“We are honored to feature Assembly Member Baker as our luncheon speaker,” said Brendan Finley, vice president of Wente Family Estates and chairman of the LVCC Board of Directors. “Ms. Baker has been a great supporter of LVCC, collaborating across the economic spectrum to develop good policy and minimize 'unintended consequences' that impact economic vitality in this region.”
“As the legislature will have concluded its 2016-17 session, we look forward to hearing about the status of bills that could help, hurt or slow progress on issues important to LVCC,” said Dawn Argula, LVCC CEO, “The Livermore Valley is fortunate to have such an engaged and strong advocate in Ms. Baker.”
The popular LVCC monthly luncheon May-September series is set at various venues throughout the beautiful Livermore Valley wine region. For information and to make reservations for the luncheon visit https://www.livermorechamber.org or call 925-447-1606.
