Coach Nelson has directed and been a part of the Nike Softball Camps network since their inception.

Directing the Nike Softball Camp at William Jessup University is Debbie Nelson who has been with US Sports Nike Softball Camp since 1996. Coach Nelson has over 25 years of training and coaching experience. As a college player, Debbie achieved All Region, All State, and NCAA All-American honors. Coach Nelson has continuously produced talented and top ranked teams as well as All Conference, All State, and NCAA All-Americans players. Coach Nelson won Silver in 2001 with the 18 and under Team USA. In 2004, Debbie joined the National Pro Fastpitch league as an assistant coach for the California Sunbirds.

Nike Softball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
