SIG Global Executive Summit Kicks Off Next Week in Southern California
Los Angeles, Ca. (PRWEB) October 23, 2015 -- SIG, the premier membership organization for sourcing, procurement and outsourcing executives, will kick off its semi-annual Summit next Tuesday, October 27 with 400 executives from some of the most globally-recognized brands in the world.
SIG Summits bring Fortune 500 and Global 1000 companies together to access the latest innovations, network and discuss issues and best practices in sourcing, procurement, outsourcing, offshoring and nearshoring. During the three-day agenda, senior buy-side executives from a variety of industries—including financial services, retail, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, manufacturing and many others—will share successes and failures, engage in open dialogues and address challenges. Summits are held twice a year, traditionally with the spring event on the east coast and the fall event on the west coast.
This well-regarded event officially launches with a pre-Summit reception Monday, October 26, 2015. The event also includes five keynote sessions, 55 breakout sessions and workshops and multiple networking opportunities, including SIG’s famous Speed Networking event. Keynote session topics range from how to build leaders and teams to how to manage and mitigate all kinds of risk.
“The Summit is SIG’s marquis event,” says Dawn Tiura, SIG President and CEO. “This time we have such an incredible line-up of speakers, including the former White House CIO discussing cybersecurity risk, big data and the Internet of Things. Risk of all types is at the top of minds for our members and this Summit we have amazing sessions focusing on how to manage and be prepared for all kinds of risk in the supply chain.”
