Annual Inspections Underway at All Superior Small Lodging Assoc Member Properties

Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) May 30, 2015 -- Members of the Superior Small Lodging Association have been sprucing up their properties in anticipation of the annual inspections that are mandatory for membership in the association and are currently underway. The inspections are conducted by The Property Review Program (PRP), an independent on-site inspection service serving the hotel and cruise industries since 1995.
The inspection process ensures guest satisfaction and loyalty by establishing and measuring quality standards in cleanliness, safety, public health, guest services, and property management, while providing corrective action recommendations to enable continuous improvement.
PRP has demonstrated a direct correlation to hospitality success and guest trust and the property inspection program. This is evidenced in the stellar reviews that Superior Small Lodging member properties continue to receive on TripAdvisor and the other online travel review sites. A recent audit of all SSL member properties on TripAdvisor showed that 93% of SSL member properties received a review score of 4.0 and higher, while an amazing 20% received a perfect score of 5.0.
In addition, the prestigious Donal A. Dermody White Glove Award is awarded to those properties who receive as score of 100% in the housekeeping portion of the inspection. The plaque awarded for this distinction is displayed prominently in the lobby area of the establishment and, along with the Superior Small Lodging Association sign and logo, are validation to the guest that their stay will be extraordinary.
