Sustainable Seafood Leaders to Convene in Bangkok, Thailand
Continuing the movement's momentum at the 15th Edition of the SeaWeb Seafood Summit
PORTLAND, Maine, Feb. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- WHAT: The SeaWeb Seafood Summit is the world's premier seafood sustainability conference, bringing together attendees from all facets of the seafood sustainability movement for a week of collaborative learning, networking and problem solving. Over the past 20 years, global interest in sustainable seafood products and practices has advanced dramatically, with hundreds of sustainable seafood initiatives now in operation. At the upcoming 15th edition of the Summit, stakeholders will explore the latest ideas and trends, including their future strategic, business and market implications.
This year's event will be the most experiential yet, offering more offsite field trips, interactive breakout session formats and Q+A opportunities than ever before; during and after the conference.
Highlights include an all-day pre-conference seminar on Monday, 10 June; keynote address, plenary sessions and the Seafood Champion Awards on Tuesday, 11 June; off-site field trips and interactive workshops on the morning of Wednesday, 12 June; and breakout sessions including lightning-round talks on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday, 13 June. After the conference closing remarks, attendees can choose to spend an extra day (Friday, 14 June) in the field, getting a behind-the-scenes look at sustainable seafood operations in action.
