We set out to develop a sock for hiking and backpacking that combined classic outdoor elements with the fit and technology that separates all Swiftwick products from the competition.

Swiftwick, a leading athletic performance sock company, is excited to expand its assortment in the outdoor market with the launch of its PURSUIT™ Hike socks. This expansion of the PURSUIT™ line will launch in stores October 6, 2016.

“We are proud to introduce the PURSUIT™ Hike and provide the Swiftwick experience to an expanded customer base," said Chuck Smith, president of Swiftwick. "We set out to develop a sock for hiking and backpacking that combined classic outdoor elements with the fit and technology that separates all Swiftwick products from the competition. The finished product has been tested on trails in the nearby north Georgia mountains, Teton Range, Swiss Alps and jungles of Vietnam.”

Swiftwick created the PURSUIT™ Hike for hikers and backpackers who demand dry performance while on the trail. Like all Swiftwick socks, the PURSUIT™ Hike is crafted with Contoured Compression™ Fit and Fiber First™ Moisture Wicking to create a dry, blister-free environment for the user’s feet.

To create the best performance hiking sock in its class, the company added its signature Olefin fiber to the proven outdoor performance of Merino Wool. At the heart of our Fiber First™ Moisture Wicking technology is Olefin, an inherently water repellent fiber without the use of harsh chemical coatings. By adding Olefin to the footbed, Swiftwick moves moisture from the bottom of the foot where it could lead to blisters. Merino Wool is a natural fiber that is soft, comfortable and excels at moisture management and thermal regulation.

Swiftwick offers the PURSUIT™ Hike in light and medium cushion in classic outdoor colors, giving hikers the opportunity to choose the right socks for their trail, pack load and personal preference.
