LOS ANGELES, Dec. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Swinerton is pleased to announce two major personnel changes in its Orange County and Los Angeles (OCLA) commercial offices. Pete Ruiz and Besim Fejzagic have been promoted to Operations Managers overseeing $1 billion work annually in the area.
Besim is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Construction Management. He first joined Swinerton in 2001 as a Project Engineer and has since risen through the ranks managing a diverse range of projects. Some of his most notable projects include Irvine Great Park Ice and FivePoint Arena, Culver Studios, John Wayne Airport Terminal Renovations, and County of Orange Building 16.
Besim's focus will be to continue bolstering Swinerton's local aviation, higher education, office, and civic markets.

Pete started with Swinerton in June 2000 as an Assistant Superintendent. His dedication to the craft navigated him through the ranks in his career, most recently as General Superintendent and Field Operations Manager. Some of his most notable projects include Ten Thousand, Carlyle Wilshire Residence, and Anita May Rosenstein Campus.
Pete's diverse background and leadership skills lend to strengthening OCLA operations in high-rise residential/hospitality projects and work in Downtown Los Angeles.
