Synchrono® Extends Value of Demand-Driven Manufacturing Platform with SyncAlert™ Software
St. Paul, MN (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- Synchrono®, a leader in demand-driven manufacturing software, today announced the launch of SyncAlert, real-time notification and escalation software that empowers manufacturing teams to quickly notify the right resource about problems and enable a rapid response—while tracking the results and minimizing costly downtime.
SyncAlert is an add-on designed to run in tandem with SyncOperations™ and SyncView™ software. SyncOperations is a workflow engine and data historian for smart monitoring and synchronization of equipment and processes (powered by Savigent) and SyncView is a visual factory information system. Both are part of the Synchrono Demand-Driven Manufacturing Platform.
Leveraging SyncAlert, manufacturing teams can:
• Communicate alerts in real-time via email, SMS text, and visual boards - making all relevant team members instantly aware of production issues.
• Mobilize resources based on standard operating procedures, ensuring rapid and consistent responses.
• Automatically escalate issues; view resources assigned to the escalation and the status.
• Capture and export data including actual response time, escalation rates and machine-level problems, allowing the team to engage in continuous improvement activities based on solid information.
“SyncAlert provides universal visibility of an issue – and coordinates a rapid response in accordance with the standard operating procedure for resolution,” said John Maher, Synchrono vice president of product strategy. “We’re helping manufacturers identify and solve problems faster, thereby extending the promise of the Demand-Driven Manufacturing Platform to improve flow, manage constraints and drive on-time production.”
SyncAlert software is part of the Synchrono Demand-Driven Manufacturing Platform. More information, including a video of the Platform is available at http://www.synchrono.com.
