More than $40,000 Donated to COVID-19 Relief
In more positive news, FIFTYEIGHT PRODUCTS is grateful for the enormous customer response to the HOPEFUL Bowl and its donation campaign towards COVID-19 relief. Launched at the height of the pandemic in 2020, the HOPEFUL bowl with a 16 oz. capacity wears a protective face mask as a reminder to keep each other safe by wearing PPE. For every HOPEFUL bowl sold, the company is donating 1.00 EUR ($1.20) to relief initiatives. So far, more than $40,000 (about $6,000 per charity) have been donated to programs in the United States and United Kingdom as well as France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.
The first donation in the United States was delivered in February 2021 to the FOOD BANK FOR NEW YORK CITY. Through its network of more than 1,000 charities and schools across the city, the FOOD BANK was able to provide more than 80 million free meals for New Yorkers in need during the past year.
