Restaurants in Miami Tamarina Unveils the Fine Details of its New Year Eve’s Dinner
Miami, FL (PRWEB) December 23, 2014 -- Tamarina Restaurant, a fine-dining restaurant with a sophisticated flair, recently announced its decision to host a New Year’s Eve dinner. Inspired by the prosperity feasts in Italy, the NYE dinner at Tamarina will feature an abundance of luxury and decadence designed to promote prosperity and good fortune in the coming year.
According to a Tamarina spokesperson, the first seating will begin at 7 p.m and the second seating at 9 p.m. The 7 p.m. seating will cost $95 or $130 with wine pairing, and the second seating will cost $95 or $150 with wine pairing and a New Year’s Eve open bar package.
Guests will be greeted with a welcome cocktail titled “Calends Fizz.” Custom created for the occasion by our lead bartender Nathan Rogers, the cocktail is inspired by ancient Roman tradition of exchanging gifts of honey-soaked figs and dates in glass jars as a symbol of abundance and promise of plentiful things to come in the New Year.
In Tamarina’s modernization of this concept, the restaurant will serve a fig based punch in Mason Jars. The recipe for the punch will include Aged Rum, Fresh Citrus, Muddled Figs, Spice-Infused Honey, Black Tea and a touch of Manzanilla Sherry. This will be ladled into Mason Jars and then topped off with Prosecco.
The set menu will build on this concept of abundance and prosperity. A seafood platter with various frutti di mare will be served as a starter. The feast will continue with big eye tuna crudo that will be paired with pomegranate and jalapeño. A lobster salad with sage and honey yogurt will prepare diners for the main course of house made pumpkin torelli topped with black caviar, filet with truffles, or a perfect seared branzino.
No New Years celebration will be complete without Tamarina’s tiramisu topped with 24k gold leaf for a sparkly and decadent New Year. Guests are invited to stay after dinner and dance the night away to the fun sounds of Tamarina’s Guest DJ with special open bar cocktails and drinks.
Tamarina’s wine pairing features wines from Corsica, France, Spain, and Germany and includes special flavors for meat, fish, and dessert. Additionally, the restaurant’s open bar package includes favorites such as vodka, gin, rum, bourbon, tequila, wine, domestic and imported beers, coffee, tea, and sodas.
