Many of the angel network's members were recognized for their community impact and business influence in the most recent lists published by Southern California’s leading business periodicals.

Tech Coast Angels (TCA) today announced that many of its members were recognized for their community impact and business influence in the most recent lists published by Southern California’s leading business periodicals: Orange County Business Journal, San Diego Business Journal, San Fernando Valley Business Journal, and Los Angeles Business Journal.

"Angel investors are usually accomplished business leaders and prominent in the local community,” said Grant Van Cleve, chairman of Tech Coast Angels’ board of directors. “But TCA’s collaborative ethos and emphasis on ‘paying it forward’ in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, seems to resonate with some truly outstanding individuals. And with our recent upswing in investment outlay, as well as noteworthy acquisitions of our portfolio companies, I would expect increased recognition of this unique group’s impact.”

Orange County Business Journal’s OC 500 list honored TCA members Ray Chan, Xandra Laskowski, Hicham Semaan, Richard Sudek, and Grant Van Cleve, as well as Lori Torres, CEO of TCA portfolio company Parcel Pending.

San Diego Business Journal’s San Diego 500 included TCA members Sam Attisha, Neal Bloom, Michael Fuller, Taner Halicioglu, Ashok Kamal, Alessandra Lezama, and Dean Rosenberg.

TCA member Mike Panesis was acknowledged in San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s Valley 200, the publication’s listing of most influential people in the region.

Los Angeles Business Journal’s LA500, includes TCA portfolio company GreenDot’s CEO, Steve Streit.
