Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) October 22, 2013

XOP Networks, Inc., a manufacturer of Emergency Communications equipment and Audio Conference Bridges, announces availability of its second generation Ringdown Firebar Conference System (RFCS).

Tellabs 291/292® Firebar Crashnet Systems are no longer supported. XOP Networks’ Ringdown Firebar Crashnet System is a functional equivalent of Tellabs 291/292 system. XOP Networks has deployed numerous RFCSs as replacements for Tellabs 291/292® at a number of Independent Phone Companies, Utilities, Manufacturing plants, Air Force bases and Government organizations.

Our first generation RFCS comprised of a media gateway combined with Universal Services Node Conference Bridge. XOP Network’s second generation RFCS integrates the conferencing function directly into the media gateway itself. The second generation architecture improves the reliability and availability of the product while reducing its space and power requirements.

“The list of customers that have replaced their aging Tellabs 291/292® systems with XOP Networks’ RFCS continues to grow. To better serve the Tellabs 291/292 Firebar replacement market we are always looking for ways to improve performance while reducing cost,” said Doug Jacobs, VP of Sales at XOP Networks.

“Our second generation Ringdown Firebar Crashnet System has been designed to be a cost effective, flexible and modern replacement of the Tellabs 291/292® system. We are extremely proud of being able to provide emergency communications solutions that help save lives during catastrophic failure situations,” added Sudhir Gupta, CEO of XOP Networks.
