Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) August 15, 2013
Players like Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Serena Williams competing at The Western & Southern Open this week are using Hop-a-Razzi ball baskets on the practice courts. The hoppers with built-in wheels offer faster ball retrieval so there’s more time for active play. This marks the pro debut of Hop-a-Razzi, which is for sale at the Lindner Family Tennis Center through Midwest Sports, the tournament's official retail partner.
“We’re really excited to offer Hop-a-Razzi’s cool hoppers to the players and the fans at The Western & Southern Open,” says Greg Wolf, President of Midwest Sports. “This is a world-class event. We’re proud to be the official retail partner, and we’re enjoying an awesome week of tennis.”
The Hop Junior model used on the tournament’s practice courts features built-in wheels, adjustable-height handles, snap-shut lids, and tubular comfort-grips. While the hoppers are available in 12 vibrant colors, those at the tournament are blue and white to match the official logo.
"Hop-a-Razzi helps players get more out of their practice time because ball retrieval is fast, easy and fun," says Christi Turdo, Hop-a-Razzi president and the inventor of the patented hopper design. "It's exciting to offer our hoppers to the world-class players competing in Cincinnati on the road to the US Open!"
Fans can demo the Hop-a-Razzi inside the tournament’s 12,000 square-foot, air-conditioned retail tent operated by Midwest Sports, which also sells the line of ball baskets at their 11613 Reading Road location and at MidwestSports.com.
The Western & Southern Open is part of the US Open series. The women’s and men’s singles and doubles championship matches are scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 18. Tickets are available at the tournament’s website, http://cincytennis.com.
