The office contains original artwork created by residents living with memory loss as an example of Art Therapy. Construction is well underway for the two-story community that will specialize solely in Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia, and is expected to open in Spring of 2015. Terra Vista will be the first of its kind to offer exceptional dementia care using the most advanced research, technology and innovative ideas enabling a more enjoyable environment and a place for family education and successful interaction. “Our new community will take dementia care to the next level. The design of the building with its incorporation of technology will set Terra Vista apart from anything previously available to those living with dementia. Moreover, carefully chosen staff with their own personal Alzheimer’s journeys, will create an environment of compassion, empathy, and heart-driven care that is what every family that is living with this challenging disease deserves.”
