Last Concert Cafe Hosts Beer Tasting Dinner
Houston, TX (PRWEB) May 07, 2014 -- Houston’s longest lasting live entertainment venue is grabbing the bull by its horns this spring and summer starting with a fresh set of exciting events throughout the months of May and June. The Last Concert Café is gearing up for its upcoming beer tasting dinner, an eclectic evening filled with fine dining and a superior selection of complimenting craft beers happening May 13.
Last Concert Café is hosting a brewing food and beer pairing dinner that will take place 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13. Seating is limited to 30 people and the cost is $40 per person. Reservations are also required. The Last Concert Café’s beer tasting dinner will host a carefully prepared menu consisting of an appetizer, first course, second course, third course and dessert, all complimented with a most suitable beverage.
Guests can expect a mouth-watering menu display starting with the Queso Flameado with spicy chorizo served with Don Jalapeño Ale, a café favorite. The first course will be served shortly after where coconut crusted tilapia with mango pico and roasted brussel sprouts, served with El Hefe Hefeweizen, will intrigue the Tex-Mex-tempted taste buds of many.
The second course is a beef brisket in adobo sauce with charro beans, served with Ridgeback Amber. The third course consists of pecan crusted chicken breast with smoked corn sauce, chipotle mashed potatoes and chayote squash ragu, served with Pale Horse Pale Ale.
And finally to top things off, the Café is offering up a delightful dessert enabling guests to experience the unique blend of pineapple empanaditas with cinnamon ice cream, served with Elda M. Milk Stout.
