Rhode Island Injury Law Firm Sponsors 2015 Meeting Street Telethon

Rhode Island personal injury law firm, the Bottaro Law Firm, is sponsoring the 2015 Meeting Street Telethon, in support of the long-standing Providence school and educational center. Specifically, the firm will be sponsoring a children’s activity during the four-hour televised fundraising event.

“It is nothing less than an honor to support this truly special cause,” said founding attorney Mike Bottaro. “There is no easier way to empower and educate the children of Rhode Island than to give to Meeting Street and help the over 3,000 families that they serve each year.”

Founded in 1946, Meeting Street provides educational and therapeutic services to children of all ages on its nine-acre campus located in the heart of Providence. The state-of-the-art facility offers a wide array of programs and services to children, including those with special needs. Based on values of inclusion, compassion, and excellence, the professional, wide-ranging staff at Meeting Street runs an early intervention program for babies and toddlers, an innovative K-5 program for students of all abilities, and a middle and high school for special needs students.

The 39th Annual Meeting Street Telethon will take place on January 24, 2015, from 7-11 p.m. The event will be broadcast live on local television station WPRI 12 and viewers are encouraged to watch, learn more about Meeting Street, and donate to the program. In addition, viewers can participate in an online auction or start their own fundraising page to help the cause. All donors who make a gift of $150 or more will receive a custom Meeting Street Wind and Fire bangle bracelet.

“Our law firm is dedicated to helping people, whether that means assisting an accident victim who wishes to secure just compensation or assisting local organizations who need financial support to achieve their goals,” Bottaro said. “I cannot think of a better or more effective way to give back to our community than to give to the children who will give Providence and Rhode Island a brighter future.”
