The Cabin Chiang Mai Alcohol and Drug Rehab to Participate in WCSAD Conference from 28th – 31st May
(PRWEB) May 12, 2015 -- Alastair Mordey, Program Director of The Cabin Chiang Mai Rehab, will come together with America’s top addiction treatment specialists to exchange knowledge about the latest advancements in treatment at the 6th Annual West Coast Symposium on Addictive Disorders (WCSAD), in La Quinta, CA from the 28th - 31st of May 2015.
WCSAD is America’s premier addiction conference dedicated to promoting outcomes-based addiction services and continuing education on developments in the various academic disciplines within the fields of addiction and behavioral health. This year, the event offers over 50 seminars and 60 key speakers.
Alastair, who designed the highly successful treatment program used at The Cabin Chiang Mai, Asia’s top residential addiction treatment center in Northern Thailand, will speak about his treatment model, which has delivered more than 1200 clients into successful recovery since its opening in 2010.

Alastair is a certified addiction counselor with over 10 years’ experience working in all four tiers of the UK’s treatment services, including as an advisor to the National Treatment Agency on matters of drug and alcohol treatment provision. His forte is developing therapeutic group work models for both inpatient and outpatient settings. He also writes articles on addiction for numerous media outlets including CNN and Asian Correspondent.
