Moore Insurance Continues Community Enrichment Program by Fundraising for the Lone Survivor Foundation in Support of Local Veterans and Their Families
The Woodlands, TX (PRWEB) October 02, 2015 -- Recognizing that coping with life back home can be a true challenge for returning U.S. service members and their families, Moore Insurance has announced a new partnership with Lone Survivor Foundation (LSF) as part of its ongoing community enrichment program. This newest campaign supports those who have given their country so much – wounded service members, veterans and their families. Moore Insurance will direct all raised funds toward the LSF and helping these brave men and women assimilate back into the community at large.
Lone Survivor Foundation’s mission is to restore, empower and renew hope for wounded service members and their families through health, wellness and therapeutic support. It’s no secret that returning combat veterans frequently have trouble adjusting to everyday life back home due to invisible wounds. Founded by US Navy SEAL (Ret.) Marcus Lutrell, LSF’s goal is to help wounded service members adjust to their experiences and bring them and their families to an understanding and acceptance of who they are as people, as families and as members of their community. LSF provides all programs at zero cost and is in constant need of donations. “We can only imagine the difficulties faced by these brave men and women in combat situations,” said Jared Moore, owner of Moore Insurance. “We are honored to do what we can to help them and their families as they readjust to life as valued members of our community. After all, neighbors helping neighbors is what we’re all about here.”
The agency will also donate $10 to the cause for each person recommended to the agency for a quote. Anyone willing to help spread the word about this worthy campaign may recommend someone they know for a new insurance evaluation for their auto, home, life, and more, with no purchase necessary.
With offices in The Woodlands, TX, Moore Insurance is employing its social media channels, email and text message communications in the campaign, and is dedicating a full page of their monthly magazine to the cause. Our Hometown magazine is delivered to thousands of households in The Woodlands and surrounding areas, and the electronic version may be viewed here: http://mooreinsuranceteam.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.
