We continue to see a steady increase in ransomware and other such attacks across our client base, and we work every day to evaluate and implement solutions to thwart these attacks,” The Computer Hut CEO, Chris Bates says.

The Computer Hut, LLC is excited to announce the acquisition of iTechs in Jonesboro, AR. This new Jonesboro office location enables The Computer Hut to extend its IT solutions and managed services offerings to northeast Arkansas and beyond. The Jonesboro office joins the company’s existing Arkansas office locations in Little Rock and Lowell as well as its northeast Texas office in Texarkana.

iTechs has served the businesses of northeast Arkansas for more than a decade and will continue with their approach to service excellence under The Computer Hut brand. The iTechs staff brings decades of experience across multiple industries with a focus on advanced security solutions for agricultural related, professional services and healthcare organizations.

“We continue to see a steady increase in ransomware and other such attacks across our client base, and we work every day to evaluate and implement solutions to thwart these attacks,” The Computer Hut CEO, Chris Bates says. “We’re thrilled to have the iTechs team join The Computer Hut to provide an expanded portfolio of solutions across Arkansas and Texas.”

The Computer Hut provides deep capabilities in cyber-security and data protection challenges all companies face, with special emphasis on the needs of healthcare organizations in helping to maintain HIPAA compliance. The company helps organizations develop the appropriate policies, procedures and processes to help ensure data protection.

“Healthcare organizations in particular are highly vulnerable to data breaches. In fact, 2018 saw 15 million patient records compromised. Halfway through 2019, those numbers skyrocketed with more than 25 million records breached. Our solutions are designed to help prevent attacks.” Jim Bryant, president of iTechs, added.

The acquisition means that The Computer Hut now has more than 30 IT professionals in locations across Arkansas and Northeast Texas to serve clients.
