The Dough Project Announces its Official National Retail Debut with a Curated Collection in Pop-In@Nordstrom Shops

“Being selected by Nordstrom’s to sell our collection of all-natural play dough in their curated Pop-In@Nordstrom shops is truly a unique experience,” said Chelsea Milkman, Founder and CEO of The Dough Project.

All-natural, plant-based playdough company, The Dough Project announced today that it has inked a deal to sell its products directly in 23 Pop-In@Nordstrom shops for a limited time. This marks the first time The Dough Project’s playdough -- which only contains five ingredients but has infinite possibilities, will be available nationwide.

The Dough Project, which previously was only available in a few local boutique stores in the New York Metro area and online through its website, was founded by preschool teacher-turned-mompreneur, Chelsea Milkman whose mission has been to get both adults and little ones to think outside the jar. Using only all-natural ingredients (things you can find in your own pantry) and color from plant-based sources (like beets used in salads), The Dough Project is obsessed with creating products that are safe and high-quality, so kids can explore and play freely.

With this new retail agreement, The Dough Project products will be sold in Pop-In@Nordstrom shops -- which is an ongoing series of limited-time pop-up shops presenting new and exclusive products, designers and content built around a different theme or collaboration. About Pop-In@Nordstrom:
Launched in October 2013, Pop-In@Nordstrom is an ongoing series of themed pop-up shops that transitions every four to six weeks to offer a new shopping experience and batch of new, often exclusive merchandise. Pop-In takes two forms: a shop curated around a theme featuring brands across different product categories (fashion, beauty, lifestyle, home/garden, sports/outdoors, etc.), or a partnership with a single brand to bring “the world of” to customers.
