During this challenging time, we, as an institution, want to do what we can to support the needs of educators, students and parents everywhere and contribute to the solutions that are vital right now.
DEARBORN, Mich. (PRWEB) March 25, 2020
In 1929, The Henry Ford was founded for the purpose to inspire future generations with its vast stories of innovation, resourcefulness and ingenuity. As we globally confront one of the greatest challenges to our society in recent memory, it is time to harness our creative genius and can-do spirit. The Henry Ford is here to provide the tools that are needed to support and ignite the resourcefulness and resolve of everyone.
In an effort to help parents, students and educators during these times of uncertainty, the institution is unleashing its educational tools for people everywhere. In an unprecedented move, the institution is waiving all standard fees and making its Innovate curriculum free to educators and families at this time. Innovate, geared toward middle school and high school students, is a four-course, self-paced program of studies that connects the core disciplines of STEAM and humanities together through digital content and activities. It joins THF’s Model i primer and Invention Convention Curriculum as free resources the institution is making available to fully harness an innovative mindset.
“During this challenging time, we, as an institution, want to do what we can to support the needs of educators, students and parents everywhere and contribute to the solutions that are vital right now,” said Patricia Mooradian, president & CEO, The Henry Ford. “We invite people from across the country to use our free resources to help ease the strain on our community during this time.”
