MESA, Ariz., Jan. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Higher Education User Group™ (HEUG™) is proud to announce the completion of the first major project to reinvigorate the brand of the HEUG. Today the HEUG culminates a year's worth of work and begins their next era with the launch of a new logo, colors and the first major redesign of the HEUG's website in the past 10 years.
The HEUG logo has been a recognizable icon for our 20+ years as an organization. In that time, its members have changed and grown from an initial few founders to being over 25,000 strong, with representation from around the world. Today the HEUG recognizes its past and begins its evolution towards the future, launching a new HEUG logo and website. They invite you to visit them as they embark on an exciting new journey to reimagine the HEUG and how they support and service their members.
"I want to credit our communications and marketing team for taking on a daunting challenge and for exceeding our expectations. We should never lose sight of our past, and they expertly blended that past into a fabulous design for our future!" said Jane Broad, HEUG President.
With the new logo and colors in place, the next major task was to re-energize and modernize the HEUG website. Today the HEUG is launching a complete rebuild of the external website open to all, and updates to significant portions of their members only site. With these efforts the HEUG is bringing to the forefront the valuable work of our volunteer members for everyone to see, making it easier for new institutions and members to get connected, and most importantly setting up a platform for growth in 2019 and beyond.
Brad Finley, Vice President for Membership and Communications, who oversaw the project is excited about the future. "Today is just the start. All this amazing work had to be put into place first, so we can now begin the next project. While the external site is a significant milestone, there is lot more to come in 2019 as we begin to update our members only site to make it easier to find information, get the answers you need more quickly, and grow as a member within the HEUG community."
Scott Balthazor, Executive Director of the Higher Education User Group commended the team on its work. "This has been a labor of love for an entire team over the past year, and I want to thank them all for their work. I'd especially like to call out our Advisory Groups, creative designer Amy Ewing and our Deputy Executive Director Brittany Moon for their dedication to executing the vision the HEUG had."
The changes are live now at https://www.heug.org with additional rollouts of functionality and design to come throughout the course of the year.
