The House Designers Releases a New Farmhouse-Inspired America's Choice House Plan
The latest addition to the America's Choice House Plan Collection is Birchlane (THD-7575), an updated version of The House Designers' popular Jasper II (THD-7909) plan with a simpler, sleeker, and more affordable design.
MONROE, Conn., Nov. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Online house plan retailer The House Designers continues to expand their exclusive America's Choice House Plan (ACHP) Collection with reimagined versions of their all-time best-sellers. This collection takes tried-and-true house plans, incorporates the most requested modifications to them, and then develops new working drawings with our home product specifications directly in the construction blueprints to make product choices easy for consumers and builders.
"Homes we design for our ACHP Collection typically become some of our top-selling plans in their own rights," said Tammy Crosby, CEO of The House Designers. "When we see a plan modified the same way multiple times, we know we have the opportunity to create an updated option that'll appeal to the masses."
The Jasper II house plan (THD-7909) has been a popular choice for families and builders since 2007 and continues to sell consistently. It attracts purchasers due to its efficient 1,800 square feet of space with three bedrooms in a split-bedroom design separating the master suite from the other sleeping areas. Its detailed country charm includes a striking turret over the dining room, further defining the curved wall filled with windows below. While many are drawn to these fairytale looks, others want a more modernized design, and that's how Birchlane was created.
Birchlane (THD-7575) maintains much of what makes Jasper II so popular, but it offers almost 200 sq. ft. of additional living space at 1,996 square feet and replaces curved elements with straight lines for building efficiency. The result is a more streamlined and affordable build with a simpler footprint and roof with a shed dormer for light and a touch of charm over the dining room. The master suite has also been modified for a larger bath and his-and-hers walk-in closets, and there's an outdoor fireplace on the back patio.
"Birchlane opens up the kitchen/great room/breakfast area, creating a super bright and spacious effect. We also added significant cabinet space in the kitchen and an enlarged laundry room that adds mudroom space for better organization," said Crosby. "Part of the benefit of building a home from the ACHP Collection is that we provide products our architects prefer to assist with product choices, which can be an overwhelming process when building a new home."
In Birchlane, the newest plan in this collection, the architect-preferred products include windows from Integrity® from Marvin®, garage doors by Clopay®, an entry door from Therma-Tru®, columns and moulding by Fypon®, kitchen appliances by KitchenAid®, laundry equipment by Whirlpool®, stone accents from Eldorado Stone, floors by Lumber Liquidators, roofing materials by Boral®, exterior paint by BEHR®, kitchen and bath accents by TileBar®, cabinetry by KraftMaid®, locks by Schlage®, lighting from Lamps Plus®, fireplaces by HEAT & GLO®, countertops by Wilsonart®, shades by Hunter Douglas®, furnishings by Williams Sonoma Home®, and interior paint by Sherwin Williams®.
Birchlane is now available for purchase exclusively from The House Designers.
