The Junior League of Boston Invites Non-Profit Organizations to Apply for Community Assistance Grants
The application for 2019 Community Assistance Grants is due on March 31, 2019.
BOSTON, March 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Junior League of Boston (JL Boston) is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for 2019 Community Assistance Grants. The purpose of the annual Community Assistance Grant program is to identify and aid non-profit agencies in Greater Boston whose proposed funding is aligned with JL Boston's mission of developing the potential of women.
"Since 1906, the Junior League of Boston has been collaborating with and supporting local, like-minded organizations to improve our communities through effective action," said Michelle Lentz, 2018-2020 JL Boston President. "We recognize that meaningful change takes a collaborative effort and are proud to be granting deserving organizations with much-needed funds to further their mission of impact."
Eligible 501(c)(3) organizations located in the Greater Boston area are invited to submit the 2019 Community Assistance Grant Application. To apply, complete the application form and submit it to grants (at) jlboston (dot) org by March 31, 2019. All grant applicants will be notified of a decision in late-May/early-June of 2019.
In 2018, JL Boston awarded eight organizations $2,500 each to support community programming in Greater Boston. The recipients were: Art Resource Collaborative for Kids (ARCK), Boston Centers for Youth & Families, Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham & Wakefield, Girls Rock, Healthy Waltham, More Than Words, Project Hope, and YW Boston.
