The LEAD1 Association and Sports Leadership Institute announce that the 2020 Collegiate Sports Summit will now take place on Tuesday, April 14th through Wednesday, April 15th at the Live! by Loews hotel in Arlington, TX.

With more than 20 states advancing Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) legislation in the next year, LEAD1 and SLI are encouraging ALL Division I Athletics Directors to participate in this opportunity to comment NCAA NIL Working Group proposals and recommendations.

The LEAD1 Association (“LEAD1”), which represents the athletics directors of the 130-member schools of the Football Bowl Subdivision (“FBS”) and Sports Leadership Institute (“SLI”), announced that the 2020 Collegiate Sports Summit will now take place on Tuesday, April 14th through Wednesday, April 15th at the Live! by Loews hotel in Arlington, TX.

With more than 20 states advancing Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) legislation in the next year, LEAD1 and SLI are encouraging ALL Division I Athletics Directors to participate in this opportunity to comment on National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”) NIL Working Group proposals and recommendations. Members of the NCAA Working Group will guide an exclusive Division I AD closed-door discussion at the Collegiate Sports Summit before they present a final report at the NCAA Division I Council Meetings on April 22nd-24th.

With more than 70 ADs expected to attend, the Collegiate Sports Summit will host dynamic discussions not only as it relates to NIL, but on a number of other important topics, such as data optimization, decision-making in an AD’s world, strategic storytelling to capture a national audience, athletics’ role in social activism on campus, and many more.
