The Metropolitan At The 9 Appoints New General Manager
CLEVELAND, Dec. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Metropolitan at The 9, Autograph Collection, is pleased to announce that Mr. Matthew Watson has been appointed as the hotel's new General Manager, as of December 11, 2018. Mr. Watson joined the hotel in August of 2016 as its Assistant General Manager. Most recently, Mr. Watson has filled the role of Director of Sales & Marketing for the past three months.
After serving our country in the United States Marine Corps and graduating from Johnson and Wales University with a degree in Culinary Arts, Mr. Watson spent a career in hospitality, serving in leadership roles with major hotel brands, including Sheraton, Omni, and Renaissance as well as the Seven Springs and Kalahari Resorts.
