More than 500 vehicles including electric and alternative fuel vehicles, ultra-high-end exotics, luxury rides, test drives and more. From car buffs to casual enthusiasts, the Seattle International Auto Show offers something for everyone.
SEATTLE, Nov. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 2019-Model Seattle International Auto Show presented by State Farm drives into the CenturyLink Field Event Center Friday, Nov.9 and runs through Monday, Nov.12, 2018. One of the top 10 auto shows in the country, it will pack the event center with more than 500 of the latest cars, trucks, crossovers, SUVs, commercial vehicles and alternative fuel options as well as exotics, new technologies, driving simulators, and more than 75 vehicles to test drive.
This annual event offers consumers the chance to compare hundreds of new vehicles side by side, all under one roof, in a non-selling environment. No amount of online research can compare to sitting in the driver's seats, inspecting engines, kicking tires, counting cup holders, checking trunk space, test driving vehicles or taking in that new car smell; all of which and more can be done at the show.
With over 27 different brands in one location, dozens of new models will turn heads on the show floor including Ford's 2019 Ranger, a new-entry into the hot midsize truck market, the 2019 Jeep Wrangler, the purpose-built, off-road, body-on-frame SUV, the completely upgraded luxurious 2019 Buick Enclave Avenir, Toyota's new 2019 Avalon Hybrid featuring a 9-inch touchscreen, automatic emergency braking and more. No matter which brand you are researching, there's something new and exciting to see.
The show will also feature the latest alternative fuel vehicles including Chevrolet Bolt, Chevrolet Volt, Ford C-Max, Honda Clarity, Nissan LEAF, and Prius Prime among others.
Other highlights this year include:
Test Drives. Licensed drivers are invited to get behind the wheel to test the feel and performance of over 75 vehicles from Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, Jeep, Land Rover, Mazda, Ram, Toyota and Volkswagen. Not to be missed is Land Rover's off road course. Enjoy the outdoors while developing off-road skills to tackle the most extreme terrain and get one-to-one coaching.
Interactive displays. There will be more interactive displays and simulators at the show than ever before, including: Hank the Robot, Ford's animatronic robot; Ford's Performance Simulator that allows you to experience the thrill of a world-class racing vehicle; the Dodge Challenger Red Eye Simulator where drivers feel what 840-horsepower is like; and Hyundai Racing Challenge, featuring the Hyundai Veloster providing attendees with a realistic racing experience.
VIP Group Tours. Automotive industry expert Tom Voelk of the Emmy award-winning Driven Car Reviews and a New York Times contributor will be conducting VIP Tours of the show. The tours start with a review of the latest technology and trends in the auto industry and a Q&A session followed by an exclusive behind the ropes tour of the show. The $35 cost includes admission to the show. Visit seattleautoshow.com to view tour times and purchase tickets.
Luxury Zone. Your chance to sit in and experience the luxury options from Acura, Alfa-Romeo, Audi, BMW, Buick, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Porsche and Volvo.
Family Fun Zone. There's plenty of fun for the kids at the show. They can test drive a variety of battery-powered cars on a special track just for them, or watch what the latest in remote control cars can do. Lynnwood Kong RC Drift Club will be putting the cars through their paces – from drifting around a track to climbing over a rock mountain. Kids can make their own Mustang magnets courtesy of Ford, paint wooden cars, and have their caricature drawn by a Muggshotz Caricature artist.
