The NHP Foundation Names Vice-President, Philanthropy
WASHINGTON (PRWEB) September 05, 2018 -- The NHP Foundation (NHPF) is pleased to announce that it has named Barbara W. Wolf Vice-President, Philanthropy where she will lead fundraising efforts for The NHP Foundation and its affiliate, Operation Pathways.
Ms. Wolf brings over 25 years of distinguished fundraising, program management and advocacy experience to the new NHPF role.
“Barbara’s impressive track record in identifying, cultivating and winning funding, convinced us she is the right professional to take on and be successful in this new role at NHPF,” said NHPF President & CEO Richard F. Burns. “We are confident she will bring a robust combination of established and innovative approaches to help us reach our goals.”
Ms. Wolf served as Vice-President, Development for the National Apartment Association Education Institute where she led a capital campaign to raise funds for new talent acquisition and education programs benefiting the multifamily industry. She also counts in her experience developing and executing multi-platform fundraising strategies on behalf of the MedicAlert Foundation where she served as Vice President of Advancement. Ms. Wolf also served as Senior Vice President for United Way National Capital Area leading corporate and workplace campaigns. Over eight years as Senior Vice President of Jobs for America’s Graduates, a national dropout prevention program, Ms. Wolf convincingly advocated on behalf of at-risk young people, cultivated and implemented the organizations first program in the nation’s capital, and secured funding from top U.S. corporations and foundations.
Ms. Wolf is a graduate of Virginia Tech. She also volunteers for the Salvation Army Grate Patrol, and has volunteered extensively and served on the boards of non-profits in the Washington Metro Area.
