The Village at Rockville Named a High-Performing Facility and Best Nursing Home by U.S. News & World Report
ROCKVILLE, Md. (PRWEB) December 11, 2018 -- The Village at Rockville—A National Lutheran Community has been ranked as a top facility by U.S. News & World Report in two disciplines: overall nursing home and short-stay rehabilitation (myPotential Rehabilitation at The Village at Rockville). U.S. News & World Report evaluated over 15,000 facilities nationwide. The Village at Rockville is one of only six high-performing facilities in Montgomery County, Md.
The methodology for evaluation placed emphasis on comprehensive information about care, safety, health inspections. In addition, this year, the rating system was altered to place more emphasis on staffing quality. This is the first year U.S. News & World Report has measure short-term stays, aimed at individuals who need intensive rehabilitation or nursing services to recover from surgery, an accident or illness. Additionally, because The Village at Rockville received a high-performing rating in the both the nursing home category and the short-stay category, the Best Nursing Home designation was awarded.
