How does a church grow? Who builds the church? What is real, honorable church growth anyway? Having pastored in six different churches for over 20 years, Cliff McManis wanted to help other pastors and Christians better understand what the Bible says about how the local church should function according to the Scripture. It prompted him in writing “The Biblically-Driven Church: How Jesus Builds His Body” (published by Xlibris).
This book describes how a local church should function and what its priorities should be in light of the Bible and Jesus’ teachings on the church. It also exposes common misguided views about the local church being propagated today.
“This book is readable, practical, current, and pertains to church life,” McManis says. “It relies strictly on the New Testament and Jesus’ teaching on how to make the church grow.”
“The Biblically-Driven Church: How Jesus Builds His Body” will remind readers that Jesus is the one who truly builds and grows the church and the Bible is sufficient for understanding everything there is to know about the church today.
