This fun and nostalgic read follows the adventures of a group of young boys who join together as club members to support each other while growing up in a close-knit community. It shows the adventures of Wimpy, Wacky, Cookie and Bucky who were the boys the author grew up with and were his best and oldest friends. The book takes readers back to the 50’s and 60’s and shows them how different life was back then.
“The Edgemont Boys” captures the vibrant enthusiasm that all children possess and gives older readers a nostalgic read that takes them back to their carefree childhood days.

About the Author
Douglas R. Bryant is a retired employee of 45 years in the paper mill industry. He enjoys a good mystery novel and fiction. He loves animated films and a good love story. Films that give true character has inspired him to write his first book, “The Edgemont Boys: The Bike,” which reflects his love for the 50’s and 60’s. His second book, “The Edgemont Boys: The Circus,” captures the 50’s as he invites readers to remember what used to be. Each book delivers a story in the life of the Edgemont boys going through good times while growing up. He and his wife Linda are new to the South; yet the slow lifestyle, hot days and beautiful flowers bring back the memories of yesterday. These give him the inspiration to write.
