The Meadows’ Dr. Jon Caldwell to Present at IECA Conference in San Diego

Caldwell, D.O., Ph.D., The Meadows’ psychiatrist and clinical research investigator, will present “Relational Trauma and the Search for Security: The Role of Mindfulness in Healing Attachment-Related Wounds” at the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) Fall Conference in San Diego Nov.13-16, 2013. Dr. Caldwell’s session is scheduled for Nov. 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
IECA is the professional organization for independent educational consultants working in private practice. For 36 years IECA has helped its members serve families in educational decisions that include colleges, local day and boarding schools; schools or programs for students with learning or therapeutic needs; international placements, summer programs and graduate and professional schools.
The theme of the conference is “Navigating the Seas of Change.” The conference will feature workshops and discussions led by leaders in their fields including specialists in educational trends, college admissions and boarding school issues, adolescent development, learning differences, and emotional disorders and treatments.
