The LilySarahGraceFund, Non-Profit Supporting the Arts, Partners With the NALA
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 12, 2014 -- On behalf of The LilySarahGraceFund and through the NALA’s charity program, local businesses located throughout the United States will be given the opportunity to collect art supplies and donate those supplies to the local schools in their cities.
The NALA’s charity program supports their partnered charities in several different ways: through education, social media and fundraising and awareness campaigns. They give their members a turnkey approach and opportunity to align with great causes.
“It is always exciting to find a non-profit we want to share with our businesses. Our charity program allows our businesses to work more closely with non-profits. They can actually see the difference they are making in their communities,” said the NALA’s VP of Operations, Jeff Velis.
The LilySarahGraceFund provides grants to those teachers that apply and meet the criteria for an Arts-Infused Inquiry Based Learning Grant. More information about LSGF and Arts-Infused Inquiry Based Learning can be found on The LilySarahGraceFund website.
“On Christmas Day, 2011, 9 year old Lily and her sisters, Sarah and Grace twin seven year-olds lost their lives in a fire in Stamford, Connecticut. I am Lily, Sarah and Grace's father. To honor their lives, I started the LilySarahGraceFund to support what my daughters loved most in life- art. Please join in supporting the arts in public schools across America." -Mattthew Badger.
