The Oliver Group Partners with Long Term Healthcare Companies to Improve the Employee and Resident Experience
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) November 18, 2013 -- The Oliver Group and long term healthcare providers Christian Care Communities, Signature Healthcare and Trilogy Health Services have obtained grant funding through the Bluegrass State Skills Corporate Grant in Aid program for training and development to improve employee selection and performance as these organizations expand to meet growing needs. The organizations applied for the grant in an effort to lower nursing turnover and drive employee engagement through leadership training. The training will enable long term healthcare organizations to better select and engage employees, thus improving the resident experience at care facilities.
According to Greg Barrett, Area Director at The Oliver Group, "These organizations believe that by investing in employee engagement, significant gains will result in both employee retention and resident care. These forward thinking organizations are committed to solving the turnover problem in long term healthcare."
The training will begin as soon as November for the organizations and will continue until June 2014, at which point they can apply for another year of the program. The program will be administered by the Health Enterprises Network (HEN) Director of Business Development, David Buschman.
