New Crowdfunding Stretch Goal Set for The Tastiest Cord Solution on Kickstarter
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 02, 2013 -- On September 12, Mike Macadaan launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for a new, portable cable management system that helps people organize their headphones, mobile phone, laptop and other charging cords while on the go. In just over a week, The Tastiest Cord Solution project has already reached its $15,000 funding goal, meaning that Kickstarters and early backers are guaranteed to receive any of the premium leather treats they pledged for on the site.
Thanks to the great response to their campaign, The Tastiest Cord Solution has announced a stretch goal of $50,000 on their Kickstarter page. If the new stretch goal is met by October 15th, a high-quality leather laptop case for the 15” MacBook Pro will be offered as a reward. Photos of the laptop case prototype are now up on the campaign’s Kickstarter page, along with their entire cord suite of products. As an added bonus, if the stretch goal is met, each backer will receive an exclusive leather coaster. If the full amount of the new goal is raised, it will be used to purchase a laser cutting system that engraves more efficiently and helps in creating prototypes.
“We’ve had many requests for an awesome leather case for laptops, so we wanted to give our backers what they’ve been asking for all along. Their support means the world to us and we wouldn’t be here without them, so we owe it to them,” says Macadaan. “Those who want to support the campaign can back the project and, in return, receive some awesome rewards like leather shoelaces, leatherback writers and pencil wraps in addition to the whole cord suite.”
The Cord Suite includes the Cord Taco, Cordito, and Cordlupa. The Cord Taco is a circular piece of leather that folds around a coiled headphone cord (creating a taco-like shape) and snaps into place to keeps headphones tangle free. The Cordito is a long, leather rectangle that can house multiple USB or headphone cables, and has a snap pouch to store USB wall plugs and other accessories. The user simply rolls it up like a burrito, snaps it shut and it’s ready for travel. Lastly, the one-size-fits-all Cordlupa is a mini-belt for those troublesome laptop power cords. Wrap the cord around the charger and secure it in place with the Cordlupa; it’s that simple. Also available is a creative suite of goods, which includes a roll-up leather pencil holder and a leatherback writer.
